Madhya Kalikata Shilpangan (MKS), a fair trade nonprofit organization, was established in 1994 to create a market for small artisan groups in India. MKS works with a variety of artisan groups that create silk, leather, stone, wood and brass products. MKS helps connect the artisans with local and international markets and also provides them with medical aid, education, loans and financial aid.
