Eco Tasar was founded in 2003 in a region of India where unreliable rainfall left rural farming communities vulnerable to poverty. Craft training and a productive environment allowed artisans a sustainable income, and pride that their intricately-woven work was supporting their family and local community. Both fashion-forward and traditional, the beautiful designs are woven on modern looms using silk yarn and all natural vegetable dyes; so artisans can weave themselves a better life, every day.
