Trinity Jewelry Crafts was founded in 1984 by three people from Mathare Valley, the oldest and largest slum in Nairobi, Kenya, to empower the local community through ethical employment opportunities. Artisans are enabled to prosper through access to the global marketplace, while crafting items that preserve vital cultural influences and local traditions. Artisans enjoy access to salary advances, emergency loans, health care--even overtime and annual paid leave!
