Haiti

The Aid to Artisans' project Supporting Haitian Artisans Through Private Enterprise (SHAPE) began in 1999 as a way to revive the Haitian craft market which had been severely damaged by years of turmoil and economic embargo. Aid to Artisan's works with craft producers throughout the world improve their businesses by generating new designs, improving business skills and gaining greater market access to the United States.
