The small cooperative, Sentosa Silk, was founded in 2004 under principles of social responsibility, to empower impoverished artisan communities and improve their standard of living. They empower marginalized Cambodian youth and adults by providing valuable training in silk work, and creating sustainable livelihoods for local artisans. Through their work, Cambodians are able to thrive in an atmosphere that promotes gender equality, confidence and self-reliance.
