She was immediately drawn to the local craft skills. Murphy sought ways to introduce and market these goods to a wider audience, sparking the idea for Teddy Exports. The organization began with just five people working together in a small mud-hut and has grown to more than 500 people since 1990 with a turnover of several million dollars annually. |
